Advertorial

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has announced significant changes in the strength of its Australasian Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Insolvency team.

These investments will enhance WTW’s ability to support clients during this time of considerable disruption to the global business and economic landscape.

Frank Lampert has been appointed as the Insolvency & Restructuring Leader for Australasia.

Frank is a senior insurance executive with 31 years of global insurance experience.

He has held senior roles with global insurers and brokers in Germany, Australia and most recently in Fiji.

Frank is a returning WTW employee who has a depth of experience and relationships within the Insolvency and Restructuring communities within Australia and New Zealand.

Steven Torresan, Director M&A commented: “We are very excited to welcome Frank as the leader of our Australasia practice.

“He joins Daniel Kell and our team of Insolvency specialists where his leadership, passion and experience brings renewed strength and focus to our Insolvency and Restructuring practice.”

Frank will be based in Brisbane and will commence with WTW on 14 September 2020.

I am very excited about my return to the insolvency industry and to reconnect with so many people around Australia and New Zealand,” Frank said.

“It’s an insurance and risk advisory niche that I always enjoyed and I look forward to assisting many clients with my team in Australia and New Zealand. We are ready to support you.”

His appointment will bring a co-ordinated approach to servicing Insolvency Practitioners around Australia and New Zealand, as he takes responsibility for strengthening the national alignment of our Insolvency specialists.

WTW has a market leading Open Cover facility available for Insolvency Practitioner clients.

Its M&A team brings expertise in the placement of Warranty & Indemnity, Tax Liability, Contingent Risk (including Environmental Liability), Title and After The Event Insurance.

By linking WTW’s transaction specialists together in each of these disciplines, the company seamlessly apply its deep understanding across both the M&A and Insolvency specialisms for the benefit of clients going through any restructuring, acquisition or sale transaction.
